2020 Product Launch – Inspital Presents the Next Generation of Ceiling Supply Units

When medicine demands peak performance – Inspital delivers the right answer. In modern clinics, extraordinary feats are accomplished daily. Under enormous time pressure, in highly complex situations, and often under physical and mental stress, every second, every action – and every technical support – counts.

Especially in operating rooms, intensive care units, or specialized treatment areas, medical technology systems are far more than just infrastructure. They are silent partners in the background – supporting pillars for safety, precision, and efficient collaboration. In the face of these challenges, standard solutions are not enough – innovation that truly understands the daily work routine is needed. This is precisely where Inspital comes in.

With the launch in 2020, Inspital Medical Technology presents three new ceiling supply units specifically developed for the dynamic needs of modern medicine: the motorized Heavy Duty Pendant FX40.15M, the flexibly mounted Double Joint Pendant FX40.20D and the compact, highly durable model FX40.10S.

This new generation represents a well-thought-out response to real clinical requirements – with uncompromising durability, hygienic perfection, intuitive ergonomics, and modular flexibility. Every detail has been developed to relieve medical staff, make patient care more efficient, and sustainably improve the working environment in critical situations.

FX40.15M - Full Control Thanks to Motorized Movement

The highlight of the new product series is undoubtedly the FX40.15M, which is the first Inspital model to feature motorized height adjustment. This allows connected devices to be quickly and precisely brought to the desired position - a decisive advantage in stressful OR situations, with changing teams, or during long procedures that place different demands on the workplace.

The ability to align heavy equipment with millimeter precision at the touch of a button not only physically relieves staff but also saves valuable time. Especially in highly dynamic environments where every action must be precise, this technology contributes to efficiency and safety.

In addition, there are integrated media modules - for medical gases, power supply, and data lines - as well as a well-designed accessory system that organizes and securely holds monitors, infusion pumps, and other equipment.

Compared to earlier models such as the FX40.20V or FX40.10V, the FX40.15M offers a noticeable technological leap - away from purely manual operation towards active system support in daily work.

FX40.20D - Flexibility with Mechanical Precision

With the FX40.20D, Inspital brings a powerful, non-motorized alternative to the market that still combines maximum flexibility and load capacity. Thanks to its two movable joints, the system can be aligned in different directions and at different heights - without electronic support, but still with high precision and smooth operation.

The model is aimed at facilities that need broad coverage in the room - for example, to supply multiple zones simultaneously - while focusing on cost-effectiveness and low maintenance. The proven mechanics allow for sensitive positioning of devices without extensive training or technology.

Compared to the predecessor model FX40.20V not only has the load capacity been increased, but stability and reach have also been improved. This makes the FX40.20D particularly suitable for hospitals that rely on solid technology with high operational reliability without having to invest in motorized systems.

FX40.10S - Compact, Robust, and Reliable

The third model in the group, the FX40.10S, stands for what Inspital does best: uncompromising quality in a clear, practical design. With its high load capacity of up to 1,000 kilograms, this single-arm system is ideal for applications where less mobility but maximum stability is required.

Whether OR lights, monitors, or other heavy components – the FX40.10S holds them securely and reliably. Especially in areas with limited space or clearly defined workflows, this model impresses with its clear functionality, durability, and focus on the essentials.

Compared to the predecessor model FX40.10VCompared to the GenericProductName, which was designed for lighter loads, the new model represents a significant step in development. Inspital has responded to market demands here: increased load capacity, improved material strength, and an expanded accessory concept – all in a slim, modular design.

Professional expertise meets practical relevance

What unites all three new models is the uncompromising focus on the actual requirements in everyday medical practice. Inspital has not only relied on new technologies but has also worked closely with clinic planners, users, and technicians to create practical solutions.

The result:

  • Increased safety through stable constructions and precise load distribution
  • Improved ergonomics that facilitate work processes and make personnel deployment more efficient
  • Hygienically optimized design with easy-to-clean surfaces and minimized cable routes
  • Flexible configuration for different room sizes, specialist departments, and user needs

Inspital – Technology for People

With this new generation of ceiling supply units, Inspital confirms its reputation as a reliable partner for medical technology at the highest level. All models are manufactured according to German quality standards, are modularly expandable, and designed for longevity.

Especially in times of growing burdens on the healthcare system, it is essential to rely on solutions that simplify processes, relieve staff, and simultaneously offer maximum safety and functionality.

The new Inspital models do exactly that – and prove once again: Medical technology is at its best when it seamlessly integrates into everyday clinical routine while providing relief, overview, and efficiency.
